Meduza(the leading Russian-language opposition media outlet in exile) has published a roundup of Russian-language media outlets covering life abroad that its editors follow themselves. The main list includes Paper Kartuli (Georgia), Volna (Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Serbia and other countries), Genau (Berlin), Mapa (Serbia), Lepta (Portugal), ZIMA (UK) and España Mía.
As a separate bonus, Meduza highlighted two media outlets launched this fall — and Xpat.Land is one of them. The publication notes that the project was founded by Ilya Zhegulev, a former Meduza and Forbes journalist, and recommends reading our column by sports journalist Alexander Golovin on Cristiano Ronaldo’s legacy and our explainer on how psychiatric care works in Portugal. It also mentions our newsletter — two emails a week with our main stories, news and explainers.
Thank you to Meduza for the attention. We still have plenty of room to grow, but it is a pleasure to find ourselves on the same list as publications we read ourselves.
